Zalto Glass Denk’Art

This traditional manual production method requires the glassmakers to have a lot of experience, skill, and a delicate touch. The visionary and legendary wine expert Hans Denk was the inspiration for the Zalto Denk’Art collection. Denk’Art glasses by Zalto are the most successful handcrafted wine glasses of our time. This fascinating glass series has set standards in the international drinking and enjoyment culture. Denk’Art wine glasses place the wine at the center. Through their graceful design, incredible lightness, and puristic design, these glasses respectfully take a step back and create a kind of stage on which the wine can act and unfold. The Denk'Art collection includes glasses for Bordeaux, Burgundy, sweet wine, white wine, beer, water, as well as a digestif glass, a champagne glass, and a so-called universal glass. Inspired by the Tilt Angle of Our Earth
In the development of the Denk'Art series, a cosmic phenomenon inspired the designers of Zalto. The angles used, 24°, 48°, and 72°, correspond to the tilt angles of our Earth.
According to tradition, the ancient Romans had already recognized that these angles brought superior properties in the production of storage containers. Food not only stayed fresh longer but also tasted significantly better.
