Fancy a Kitchen Sieve?
Seven times seven equals? 49 is also correct, but we mean the device for separating various cooking ingredients during preparation or refinement when cooking and grilling. We learned the basic principle as children in the sandbox, and not much has changed since then. The smaller the holes in the separating medium, the finer the result. And vice versa.
The same applies to the colander. Here, the openings are larger, and usually, solids are separated from liquids. The classic example is pasta and water, with the important note that worldwide, only Steffi Graf is allowed to use her tennis racket for this. Of course, our shop also has very good splash guard sieves. This way, you can optimally cover your pans and roasters against splashing fat or oil. We also carry pestles so you can easily pass sauces, fruits, or other things through a sieve without unwanted coarse parts ending up in it. As a small bonus, you will also find practical funnels (some with sieve inserts) with us. Particularly practical are our collapsible colanders with flexible silicone walls from Rösle. These can really fit into even the smallest cupboard or drawer when you fold them down to a few centimeters in height. They are even available in various bright colors for that special splash of color. Of course, you can also purchase different sieve inserts for your Passetout from us if you really own such a device.
