Peugeot Paris Chef U'Select Salt Mill 22 cm Stainless Steel - Steel Grinding Mechanism

Manual Peugeot salt mill from the Paris Chef U-Select series with a body made of 304L stainless steel and a height of 22 cm. The steel used is known for its strength and durability and is widely used in the food processing industry. The salt mill is equipped with the patented U-Select mechanism made of a specially corrosion-protected stainless steel. The shape is specially adapted to reduce salt grains to fine powder. Please note that this mill should only be used for dry salt. For salt with a high residual moisture, such as most sea salts, special salt mills with a ceramic mechanism are necessary.

The special feature of the Peugeot U-Select mills is the stepless adjustment of the grinding degree at the bottom. Thanks to the six markings from 1 = very fine to 6 = very coarse, the grinding degree can be precisely adjusted and, above all, maintained. The grinding degree remains even and does not change during use or filling of the mill.

You can distinguish the Peugeot pepper and salt mills by a black ring for pepper, or a white ring for salt on the head screw. In addition, the ring around the grinding mechanism at the bottom of the mill is color-coded: black for pepper and white for salt. This is not unimportant, as the pepper and salt mechanisms differ from each other and are precisely tailored to their respective use.

All Peugeot mills are delivered half-filled, as no mill leaves the factory in France without prior functional testing. Refilling is easy by unscrewing the top head.
