Appolia – the ceramic brand of Peugeot

The French traditional company Peugeot stands for professional mills, and - brand new - for high-quality ceramic molds that combine perfect usability with damn good looks. For this purpose, Peugeot brought the renowned ceramic brand Appolia on board. The ovenproof dishes are exclusively made in France - which is why the quality seal Origine France can be used as an award.

The recipe for the ceramic mass used, ECOCERAM, is strictly confidential. This material has a higher edge strength than cheap products due to its special properties. Sounds technical, and it is. It means you should handle your Appolia ceramics with care, but you don't have to handle them with kid gloves.

Of course, you should use oven gloves when the parts come out of the hot oven. This is not a problem with the typical, handy handles of Appolia. The handles are additionally grooved on the underside, which provides more safety when handling and carrying. Voilà - this is how your casserole or cake safely goes from the stove to the table. And there is another plus point of your new dishes: the high heat storage capacity of the material. This means that your oven dish stays warm in the ceramic mold on the set table for a long time. This leaves more time to enjoy and chat.

Appolia ceramics and enamel - friends for life

After eating comes the less beautiful part - washing up. Don't worry, this is not a big deal here: Appolia ceramics use a specially developed glaze mixture. This high-quality enamel gives your ceramic mold a particularly high gloss, protects it from scratches and abrasion, and is, of course, food-safe. The smooth surface also ensures easy cleaning. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the ceramic molds are dishwasher safe - but honestly, we recommend gentle hand washing. We see this similarly to the decision "car in the car wash" - some do it, some don't. Done!

Oh la la, we're not done yet. There is more to this collection. The Appolia molds are available in various shapes, sizes, and four chic colors. The different sizes of each mold can be stacked together in the kitchen cabinet to save space.

Some like it hot - Appolia likes it hot AND cold

And if there's any Quiche or Lasagne left over? Bravo! Let it cool down and put it in the fridge. Or even in the freezer. Appolia dishes can withstand temperatures up to minus 20°C. And then to reheat, simply put it back in the oven (up to 250 °C).  However, what you should avoid is this: ceramics don't like sudden extreme temperature differences. So don't put the hot dish on a cold wet cloth. Hot on top, suddenly cold on the bottom - this could lead to cracks in the material, and the dish would be unusable. Therefore: Treat yourself to a pot holder from Jack & Lucy - you can get them here in the shop, then nothing will burn or break.

One more thing: You know, we at Butch set high standards when it comes to the quality and functionality of our products. If manufacturers impress us with mindful, sustainable action - all the better. Appolia has imposed strict environmental protection measures, such as: recycling of all product waste, reduction of packaging materials, use of natural raw materials, optimization of production processes - also with the aim of reducing emissions and energy consumption.

All of this in sum makes a true brand for us. No nice marketing fairy tales, but real authenticity. That's what Butch stands for.
