Details
The Soul chef's knife features an 18 cm long blade made from a special steel containing the rare element niobium. The high niobium content achieves the finest possible steel structure despite corrosion resistance, resulting in extremely high strength, durability, and edge retention. The hardness of approximately 60 HRC, the single-sided hollow grind, and the slightly curved blade shape make the lightweight chef's knife a perfect tool for 90% of all cutting tasks.
The massive and seamless handle in this variant is made from olive wood. Originating from Southern Europe, the wood boasts a particularly spectacular grain: light brown to golden yellow, wildly figured with dark stripes. To preserve the pleasantly soft feel of the wood, the handles are deliberately not polished. The transition between the blade and handle is adorned with a ferrule made of matte brushed stainless steel.
The Soul chef's knife is delivered in a high-quality matte black box with the Nesmuk authenticity certificate.
