Nesmuk Exclusive C100 Damascus Chef's Knife 18 cm - Handle Micarta Red

The Nesmuk Exklusiv C100 chef's knife is the benchmark for true Damascus knives. The 18 cm long blade is hand-forged in a wild Damascus style from 240 layers of different types of steel, perfectly matched to each other. The carbon content of the steel mixture is 1.0%, with a hardness of approximately 63 HRC. A double-sided hollow grind reduces food adhesion and allows the knife to glide effortlessly through the food. To reduce the usual maintenance effort for Damascus knives, the blade has been refined with the innovative Nesmuk Protective Coating technology (NPC). The silicon layer, only a few micrometers thick, preserves it permanently, and the blades can boast the attribute of being corrosion-resistant. In terms of appearance, handling, and cutting performance, the C100 chef's knife is an absolutely impressive kitchen knife.

The massive and seamless handle in this variant is made from the high-tech plastic Micarta in red-black. This plastic is impact-resistant, hard, and shatterproof, as well as extremely resistant to moisture, acids, and alkalis. Therefore, Micarta is often chosen by professional chefs as a handle material. The transition between the blade and handle is adorned with a ferrule made of high-gloss polished stainless steel.
