Nesmuk Exclusive C100 Damascus Chef's Knife 18 cm - Handle Micarta Green

The Nesmuk Exklusiv C100 chef's knife is the benchmark for genuine Damascus knives. The 18 cm long blade is hand-forged in the wild Damascus style from 240 layers of different types of steel, which are perfectly matched to each other. The carbon content of the steel mixture is 1.0%, and the hardness level is approximately 63 HRC. A hollow grind applied on both sides reduces the adhesion of the cut material and allows the knife to glide through the cut material. To reduce the usual maintenance effort for Damascus knives, the blade has been refined with the innovative Nesmuk Protective Coating technology (NPC). The silicon layer, which is only a few micrometers thin, preserves this permanently and the blades can adorn themselves with the attribute of being corrosion-resistant. The C100 chef's knife is absolutely impressive in terms of appearance, handling, and cutting performance.

The solid and seamless handle in this variant is made of the high-tech plastic Micarta in green-black. This plastic is shock-resistant hard and unbreakable, as well as extremely resistant to moisture, acids, and alkalis. Therefore, Micarta is often chosen by professional chefs as handle material. The transition between blade and handle is adorned by a ferrule made of highly polished stainless steel.
