minoSharp Universal - suitable for all knives

At Butch, we describe the minoSharp sharpeners as easy to use and efficient in their results. The minoSharp Universal sharpener is equipped with two ceramic rollers. Unlike the minoSharp Global Plus sharpener, the rollers here are larger, which brings with it a longer lifespan. The white roller has a 1000-grit for normal sharpening. For fine sharpening and polishing, use the pink roller with a 5000-grit. To prevent anything from wobbling during sharpening, the minoSharp sharpener can be held very well by the handle. Rubber feet on the bottom also prevent slipping.

The application is relatively simple. First, fill a little water into the container. Then, place your knife in the opening with the white roller, marked with a 1. Now, slide the knife without pressure back and forth. Simply concentrate on guiding the knife, the weight of the knife is sufficient. Too much pressure can damage the sharpener and the blade. Depending on the dullness of the knife, you should repeat this process 8-10 times. Now repeat this procedure with the pink roller, marked with a 1. That's it. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can repeat the process as often as you like. As a final step, you should clean both briefly and then you can swing your knife again.

The minoSharp sharpener is suitable for all symmetrically sharpened knives, whether they are Japanese or European knives. The offset rollers provide an optimal angle and counteract any wobbling. We have of course tested the minoSharp on almost all knives in our range. We only skipped the real Damascus knives from Nesmuk. The result, however, leaves us truly pleased.
