minoSharp Global - suitable for Japanese knives

At Butch, we describe the minoSharp sharpeners as easy to use and efficient in their results. The minoSharp Global sharpener is equipped with two ceramic rollers. The white roller has a 1000 grit for normal sharpening, while the pink roller has a 5000 grit for fine sharpening and polishing. To ensure stability during sharpening, the minoSharp sharpener can be easily held by the handle, and rubber feet on the bottom prevent slipping.

The application is relatively simple. First, fill the container with a little water. Then, place your knife in the opening with the white roller, marked with a 1. Now, slide the knife back and forth without pressure. Too much pressure can damage the sharpener and the blade. Depending on the dullness of the knife, you should repeat this process 8-10 times. Now, repeat this procedure with the pink roller, marked with a 2. That's it. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can repeat the process as many times as you like. As a final step, clean both rollers briefly, and your knife is ready to use again.

The minoSharp Global sharpener is suitable for symmetrically sharpened knives with a wide blade and no hand guard. This includes Asian chef's knives, Santoku, Nakiri, and similar knives. The offset rollers provide an optimal angle and prevent wobbling. We have tested the minoSharp on almost all knives in our range, except for the real Damascus knives from Nesmuk. The result, however, has left us truly satisfied.
