KAI Shun Nagare Black Paring Knife 9 cm - Damascus Steel - Pakkawood Handle Black
KAI Shun Nagare Knives
Shun Nagare is the top series from KAI and amazes with its great sharpness, coupled with particularly excellent handling. The special feature of the KAI Shun Nagare knives is the dual-core blade, which is produced using an innovative forging process. The dual-core process combines the two stainless steel types VG-10 and VG-2 into a 72-layer Damascus steel. The combination of the flexible and resistant VG-2 steel and the particularly hard VG 10 steel results in a Rockwell hardness of 61±1. In addition to the special appearance and the double-edged blades, the Nagare knives offer long-lasting cutting durability and excellent sharpness.
The ergonomically shaped handles are particularly comfortable in the hand due to a soft, rounded line. The riveted handle scales made of gray-black mottled or black Pakka wood from the Japanese pine, an impregnated and particularly resistant wood veneer, give the knife warmth and value.
