Details

The Shun Classic series from the Japanese manufacturer KAI has become, as the name suggests, a true classic. Traditional blacksmithing combined with modern manufacturing processes. The cutting core made of hard VG-Max steel is enveloped by 32 layers of stainless steel in Damascus style. The blade is therefore equally flexible and stable.

You can choose between handles made of dark Pakka wood or ash-colored Pakka wood in the Shun Classic White collection. Both handle variants are designed in a chestnut shape with a soft edge on the right. This makes the handles fit perfectly in the hand, especially for right-handers. For left-handers, there are separate models where the edge is on the left.
