Steel + Steel = KAI Seki Magoroku Shoso. The knives in this series contain neither plastic nor wood, but they do contain some other exciting things. The blade is made of rust-free 5CR15MoV steel. Through a new precision technology and immense technical effort, the blade is finally sharpened and honed. This gives the blade its enormous sharpness, without any loss in stability and durability. This is supported by a convex cut on the blade. A relatively small value of 56 HRC thus brings a remarkable cutting performance due to these special features.
The robust handle is made of 18/8 stainless steel and designed in a symmetrical ellipse shape. This makes the knife very comfortable to hold and allows for precise control. The diamond-shaped notches on the handle in combination with the matt surface ensure a secure grip, even with wet hands.
The Seki Magoroku Shoso series is a remarkable kitchen knife series that offers very good quality at a very good price. All information and the entire range can be found on our KAI Seki Magoroku Shoso series page. All products from the Japanese manufacturer can be found on our KAI brand page.
