KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood Santoku Knife 17 cm - Carbon 1K6 Steel Blade - Pakkawood Handle
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood Santoku knife has a 17 cm long blade made of rust-free Carbon 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC. The polished blade is symmetrically ground and runs almost straight. As with all knife series from KAI, the Santoku is also the showpiece here. It is excellent for cutting meat, fish, vegetables and much more.
Traditionally in chestnut shape, the handle is made of Pakka wood. High-quality resins, which are added to the wood, make the handle particularly durable and more resistant to liquids. A ferrule made of shiny black plastic connects the handle, which tapers narrowly towards the blade, with the inserted blade. The light handle creates a nice balance to the blade, which allows effortless cutting.
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood series presents itself in a minimalist basic form. In combination with Japanese aesthetics, the knives are visually more than appealing. In practice, the knives even surpass the first impression. Another example of the famous Japanese knife art.
All knives from this series can be found on our KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood series page. The complete range of the Japanese manufacturer on our KAI brand page.
