KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood Bread Knife 22.5 cm - Carbon 1K6 Steel Blade - Pakkawood Handle
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood bread knife has a 22.5 cm long blade made of rust-free Carbon 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC. The polished blade has a fine serrated edge, which allows both soft and hard bread to be cut equally well.
Traditionally designed in a chestnut shape, the handle is made of Pakka wood. High-quality resins added to the wood make the handle particularly durable and more resistant to liquids. A black glossy plastic collar connects the narrow handle to the inserted blade. The lightweight handle creates a nice balance with the blade, allowing effortless cutting.
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood series presents itself in a minimalist basic form. Combined with Japanese aesthetics, the knives are visually more than appealing. In practice, the knives even surpass the first impression. Another example of the famous Japanese knife art.
