KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood Utility Knife 15 cm - Carbon 1K6 Steel Blade - Pakkawood Handle

The Seki Magoroku Red Wood utility knife features a 15 cm long blade made of stainless carbon 1K6 steel with a hardness of approximately 58 HRC. The polished blade has a symmetrical grind. Unlike a chef's knife, utility knives have a thinner blade spine and a narrower blade. It is used for all cutting tasks that require a more delicate blade.

Traditionally shaped in a chestnut form, the handle is made of pakkawood. Due to high-quality resins added to the wood, the handle is particularly durable and more resistant to liquids. A ferrule made of glossy black plastic connects the handle, which tapers narrowly to the blade, with the inserted blade. The lightweight handle creates a nice balance with the blade, allowing for effortless cutting.
