KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood Chef's Knife 15 cm - Carbon 1K6 Steel Blade - Pakkawood Handle
The small Seki Magoroku Red Wood chef's knife has a 15 cm long blade made of rust-free Carbon 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC. The polished blade is symmetrically ground and equipped with a thick blade back. This gives the knife the necessary stability for precise cutting. With the chef's knife, you can do most of the cutting work.
Traditionally in chestnut shape, the handle is made of Pakka wood. High-quality resins added to the wood make the handle particularly durable and more resistant to liquids. A ferrule made of shiny black plastic connects the narrow handle to the inserted blade. The light handle creates a nice balance to the blade, which allows effortless cutting.
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood series presents itself in a minimalist basic form. In combination with Japanese aesthetics, the knives are more than visually appealing. In practice, the knives even surpass the first impression. Another example of the famous Japanese knife art.
