KAI Seki Magoroku Kinju Deba 15 cm - High-Carbon Stainless Steel - Pakkawood Handle
The middle KAI Seki Magoroku Kinju Deba has a 15 cm long blade made of high-carbon stainless steel with a hardness of 58 HRC (±1). The blade achieves a high sharpness and durability through special manufacturing technologies that are not typical for high-carbon stainless steel. The single-sided right sharpened Deba is traditionally used in Japan as a chopping knife. With the massive and wide blade, softer bones and fish bones can also be separated using the stronger rear part. The front, thinner part is mostly used for filleting fish.
The handle is made of dark Pakkawood in a hexagonal shape. The shape and material provide a comfortable grip and a secure hold. The blade and handle are connected by a hexagonal bolster made of high-quality plastic.
