Details
Can traditional Japanese knives undergo tuning? Oh yes, they can. The Japanese knife manufacturer KAI proves this impressively with the Seki Magoroku Composite series.
The quality steel VG-10 preferred by KAI is not traditionally clad in Damascus style this time, but receives a satin-finished blade back made of SUS420J2 steel. The steels are joined by irregular copper brazing, creating a visual highlight. Light Pakka wood with a tapering end completes the knives appropriately.
