KAI Office Knives
The term "office knife" is a widely used term in professional kitchens. Outside of gastronomy, the term "all-purpose" or "paring knife" has also become established, due to its similar shape. However, not every KAI all-purpose knife is also a KAI office knife. Office knives are small knives with a blade length of a maximum of 10 cm.
The field of application for KAI office knives
Small and delicate cutting material, small blade! This is a basic rule and describes the field of operation of KAI office knives very accurately. Cleaning, peeling, cutting, turning vegetables and fruits, and so on and so forth. Office knives are designed for these tasks. In our opinion, an office knife, or the slightly larger all-purpose knife, is an essential part of a kitchen knife set.
The small KAI knives are available with 9 cm or 10 cm blade length in the Wasabi, Seki Magoroku Redwood, Shun Classic, Shun Premier Tim Mälzer, and Seki Magoroku Composite series. Not spectacular, but indispensable!
