Nothing, absolutely nothing is more important than a decent chef's knife. No matter what requirements may come, with a chef's knife you can tackle almost all cutting tasks. Admittedly: sometimes quite easy, sometimes difficult and sometimes very complicated. But in the end, somehow it works with the chef's knife. Because a good chef's knife is MacGyver and Chuck Norris in one tool.
The medium Kappa chef's knife has a wide and 21 cm long blade made of rust-free and hand-sharpened chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. The blade is rigid and slightly rounded towards the tip. This makes it easy and precise to process cutting material with the rocking cut technique. The chef's knife is suitable for almost 90% of all cutting tasks.
Güde knives are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the blade tip to the double bolster. The double bolster, a special feature of the Güde knives, provides a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special blend of steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with over 30 manual work steps give the rust-free blades with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC a special robustness and durability.
The blade & handle are made from a single piece of steel. The extremely hygienic handle with the smooth polished surface fits optimally and securely in the hand. The full metal design gives the knives a unique weight distribution and balance.
