Güde Alpha Vegetable Knife 8 cm - CVM Knife Steel - Handle Scales Hostaform
Chopping vegetables and fruits is a joy. Okay, not for everyone. But the joy of the result is usually all the greater. And with a decent vegetable knife, it's not such a big ordeal.
The Alpha vegetable knife has an 8 cm long, almost straight blade made of rust-free & hand-sharpened chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Unlike the regular vegetable knife, the blade of this vegetable knife tapers to a point, so you can also use it as a larding and garnishing knife. So it's perfect for all those precise fine work where long blades are too long.
Güde knives are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the blade tip to the double bolster. The double bolster, a special feature of the Güde knives, provides a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special blend of steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with over 30 manual work steps give the rust-free blades with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC a special robustness and durability.
The finely polished handle scales made of Hostaform are embedded in the steel and triple riveted. Hostaform plastic is extremely resistant, very hygienic and comfortable to hold. The Alpha series meets the strict requirements for use in the catering industry and offers the widest range of models.
