Güde Alpha Bread Knife 21 cm - CVM Knife Steel - Handle Scales Hostaform
Does a bread slicing machine take up too much space for you, or do you simply enjoy slicing bread by hand? Then you should definitely add the Güde bread knife to your knife selection. After all, Franz Güde is the inventor of the serrated edge.
With the Alpha bread knife and its 21 cm long blade, you can cut any bread, regardless of whether it has a hard or soft crust, into even slices. The one-sided hand-sharpened blade with the famous Güde serrated edge made of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel makes bread slicing machines seem superfluous.
Güde knives are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the blade tip to the double bolster. The double bolster, a special feature of the Güde knives, provides a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special blend of steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with over 30 manual work steps give the stainless blades with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC a special robustness and durability.
The finely polished handle scales made of Hostaform are embedded in the steel and triple riveted. Hostaform plastic is extremely resistant, very hygienic and comfortable to hold. The Alpha series meets the strict requirements for use in the catering industry and offers the widest variety of models.
