Güde Alpha Pear Meat Fork 18 cm - CVM Knife Steel - Pear Wood Handle Scales
Larger pieces are difficult to lift with tongs, for this you need a meat fork. With the sharpened prongs, you can skewer the meat and easily carry/lift/hoist it to the desired place.
The Alpha Pear meat fork has 18 cm long, sharpened prongs made of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. The high-quality steel was used to prevent the prongs from bending when lifting and to keep them permanently sharp.
Güde knives are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the tip of the blade to the double bolster. The double bolster, a special feature of Güde knives, provides a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special blend of steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with over 30 manual steps give the stainless blades with a hardness of approx. 58 HRC a special robustness and durability.
The finely polished handle scales made of pear wood are embedded in the steel and triple riveted. Pear wood is extremely hard with a finely structured, velvety grain. The Alpha Pear series was launched on the occasion of Güde's admission by the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe, Germany section, into the circle of Preferred Suppliers. The logo of the association is engraved in the double bolster.
