Global Bunmei Tako Sashimi 21 cm single-sided sharpened - Cromova 18 steel - Honokiholz handle
Single-sided right sharpened Tako with a blade length of 21 cm
The Japanese Tako is very similar in shape and function to the Yanagiba and is mainly used for filleting fish. Unlike the Yanagiba, the Tako has a straight tip.
The blade is made of Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59 (±1) HRC. Unlike the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are finely sharpened, making them sharper.
The handle of the Bunmei series is made of Honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia wood with fine grain. The handle of this knife is in the shape of a chestnut. The transition between the handle and the blade is marked by a plastic ferrule.
You can find detailed information and the complete range of this series in our Global Bunmei catalog. The complete range is available on our Global brand page.
