Symmetrically ground office knife with a blade length of 9 cm

Office knives are knives with short and pointed blades for fine work such as peeling. In Europe, these knives are better known as universal or paring knives, but they usually have a narrower blade.

The blade is made of Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59(±1) HRC. In contrast to the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are ground finer and therefore appear sharper.

The handle of the Bunmei series is made of Honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia wood with fine grain. The handle of this knife is also symmetrically shaped. A plastic ferrule marks the transition between the handle and the blade.
