de Buyer Mandolins
The mandolin is a plucked string instrument of European origin from the lute family, known since the 17th century (source: Wikipedia.de). However, the mandolins we are talking about here are highly valued instruments in kitchens around the world. If you want to play at the top and avoid dissonance around the stove and kitchen table, it must be a de Buyer mandolin. We are firm on that. The classics from de Buyer consistently cut the ingredients entrusted to them, regardless of their consistency. Where others crush, you can trust de Buyer for a smooth cut. Various patents and years of experience make these elegant and native French instruments a member of the Butch family.Mandolins are used to slice and sometimes shred vegetables and fruits. The selection and possibilities are diverse: from simple slicing of discs and julienne strips to cutting cubes or even slices with a waffle pattern - depending on which mandolin you want to play with.
Eight models to choose from
Vegetable slicer KOMIA small, compact fruit and vegetable slicer for cutting slices and julienne strips. The blade is angled for easy slicing. You can cut slices in thicknesses of 1-5 mm. Additionally, two julienne blades with 2 & 4 mm are included.
Mandoline Kobra V Axis
A small hand mandoline for cutting slices in various thicknesses. The serrated stainless steel blades are aligned at an optimal angle of 19.3 degrees. This angle allows the food to be cut like with a knife and not crushed. Even ripe tomatoes for a tomato-mozzarella salad can be cut very well with the Kobra. With the "Click-Express" system, you can quickly and safely adjust the cutting thickness at the end of the handle.
Mandoline Swing Plus
The Mandoline Swing is a stand slicer that is safe and stable on rubber feet. With it, you can effortlessly slice smooth and wavy slices, adjustable from 1-10 mm thickness. In addition, there are two easily installable julienne blades with distances of 4 & 10 mm on top. Two more julienne blades with 2 & 7 mm with a magnetic storage box are available separately. With the Mandoline Swing, you can cut smooth and wavy slices and julienne strips.
Mandoline Access
A stand slicer made almost entirely of stainless steel. The horizontal double blade for smooth and wavy cuts has already proven itself in the Mandolins Revolution and Swing. Also included is the Julienne double blade with 4 & 10 mm. Two additional Julienne blades with 2 & 7 mm with a magnetic storage box are available separately. The Mandoline Access can therefore produce smooth & wavy slices, the waffle pattern, and Julienne strips.
Mandoline Viper
Sharp name, sharp device. The blade of the Mandoline Viper is inserted in a V-shape. This makes it easier to cut soft vegetables & fruits. The package also includes two Julienne blades with 4 & 10 mm distances. What may not look like much is unbeatable in use. The combination of the individual parts allows you to make the following cuts: slices, Julienne strips, and thanks to the built-in rotation control in the slider, even cubes! The unused blades also find a safe place in the storage box here.
Mandoline Vantage
One of our favorites! Made almost entirely of stainless steel, equipped with a V-blade and four julienne blades with distances of 2, 4, 7 & 10 mm. This makes it easy to create slices and julienne strips. A blade guard, a long pusher, and a magnetic storage box for the julienne blades are always included.
Mandoline Revolution (formerly Ultra)
The all-rounder, the absolute premium device, favorite of chefs and hated by cooking apprentices, but only because they have to spend so much time with it. Particularly robust and made entirely of stainless steel, the Mandoline Revolution is perfect for heavy use and processing large quantities. The Mandoline Revolution is also available in two versions:
The basic version of the Mandoline Revolution includes the two-sided horizontal blade and the julienne blades with dimensions of 2, 4 & 10 mm.
The Revolution Master comes with six julienne blades with distances of 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 10 mm. It doesn't get much better than that. In addition, a long pusher is also included, into which you can insert large potatoes and similar items. Both versions of the Mandoline Revolution can create the following cutting styles: smooth slices, as well as wavy and waffle patterns, julienne strips, and cubes.
