Details
The Kobra V Axis mandoline is a hand-held mandoline for slicing food into various thicknesses. The serrated stainless steel blades are angled at an optimal 19.3 degrees, which guides the food along the blades without crushing it. Even ripe tomatoes can be sliced easily with the Kobra V Axis.
The thickness of the slices can be adjusted continuously up to a maximum of 5 mm at the end of the handle. The "Click-Express" system allows for quick, easy, and secure locking of the desired thickness. Light waves on the stainless steel cutting ramp create an air cushion so that the food can be sliced without sticking. To protect your fingertips and make your work easier, each mandoline comes with a safety pusher. Stainless steel pins and a spring inside hold the food firmly and help with slicing. The safety pusher is attached to the bottom of the mandoline for storage.
The body is made of highly durable, high-quality polymer plastic, here in the red version. The handle and feet are covered with the proven soft-touch surface, which prevents the mandoline from slipping on the surface or out of your hands. With the Axis mandoline, you can also slice directly into a bowl or pot. The notch on the bottom secures the mandoline to the edge. The handle's slight curve of about 15° always provides you with fatigue-free work and a secure grip, no matter how you hold the mandoline.
Although the Kobra mandolines are all dishwasher safe, we recommend washing them with hot water, a little detergent, and a sponge after use, as usual. You will enjoy them for much longer this way.
