The de Buyer Bois cake lifter features a 10 cm long, pointed lifting surface made of 1 mm thick stainless steel. One side of the lifting surface has a fine serration. The stainless steel is given an antique finish through a special surface treatment. Despite this antique appearance, the stainless steel is robust, resistant, and of course, rust-free. The antique look is rounded off with an oval handle made of solid beech wood, including a hanging loop. This way, you can hang the cake lifter within reach on a wall rail with hooks.
