2.5 to 3 cm thick with angular edges and slightly lighter in weight. This distinguishes the Pro Chef-Lite series from the boards of the Pro-Chef series by the American manufacturer Boos Blocks.
The rest is proven history: The cutting boards are made of North American maple longwood. Maple wood is resilient, durable, hygienic, knife-friendly and, with proper care, prevents bacterial growth. Each cutting board can be used on both sides without a juice groove. The exception is the so-called 209, which is intended as a serving board for steaks, for example. Side handle recesses always make it easier to turn and move the boards.
By the way, the thickness of individual cutting boards has only a minor effect on whether the board can warp or not. Thicker cutting boards can simply be sanded down and reworked more often. And that's why they last longer.
