Boos Blocks 1887 Cutting Board 43x31x4.5 cm - Walnut Wood

The double-sided cutting board is made from a solid piece of walnut hardwood in a rustic-edge design. The dimensions of this cutting board are 43x31x4.5 cm with a weight of around 5 kg. The specified dimensions are approximate, as there may be slight variations due to the nature of the hardwood.

Rustic-edge design means that the cutting boards of the 1887 Collection are kept as natural as possible during the final processing, with rough-sawn, rustic edges and naturally occurring variations. Irregular edges, notches, and knots are characteristic of these cutting boards. The color, grain, and especially the growth rings make each cutting board a unique piece. The cutting surface is finely sanded and finally sealed with the Boos Blocks Cream Finish, like all cutting boards from Effingham.

The wood of the 1887 Collection comes from the USA, from a piece of renewable American hardwood and sustainable cultivation. The production is very energy-efficient: compared to conventional manufacturing, a 25% lower CO₂ footprint was achieved and 25% less material waste was generated.
