Boos Blocks 1887 cutting board 43x31x4.5 cm - walnut wood

The double-sided cutting board is made from a solid piece of walnut hardwood in a Rustic-Edge design. The dimensions of this cutting board are approximately 43x31x4.5 cm with a weight of around 5 kg. The dimensions given are approximate, as there may be slight variations due to the nature of the hardwood.

Rustic-Edge design means that the cutting boards in the 1887 Collection are kept as natural as possible during the final processing, with rough sawn, rustic edges and naturally occurring variations. Irregular edges, notches, and knots are characteristic of these cutting boards. Color, grain, and especially growth rings make each individual cutting board a unique piece. The cutting surface is finely sanded and finally sealed with the Boos Blocks Cream Finish, like all cutting boards from Effingham.

The wood of the 1887 Collection comes from the USA, from a piece of renewable American hardwood and from sustainable cultivation. Production is very energy-efficient: compared to conventional production, a 25% lower CO2 balance was achieved and 25% less material waste was generated.
