Silicone Molds... One Word is Enough: Multitalent

Muffins, cakes in the shape of a heart or the Eiffel Tower, or tartelettes with asparagus, goat cheese, and parmesan... Thanks to our Moulflex and Elastomoule series from de Buyer, we have a wide range for every occasion. But what speaks for silicone molds? Butch helps you decide:
- The baking molds have non-stick properties. Baked goods release easily without additional greasing.
- They are temperature resistant from - 40°C to + 280°C, Elastomoule even up to 300°C.
- You can store the silicone molds in a space-saving manner. Due to their flexibility, they can be easily rolled up tightly, for example with a household rubber band, and stacked without any problems.
- They are durable and shatterproof due to their material and are made with food-safe silicone.
- The baking molds are dishwasher safe.
- They can be used for baking, gratinating, for cold and frozen items. Avoid sharp and pointed objects.

As a cherry on top, we have created a list of tips and tricks for you. We wish you lots of fun with your new baking mold.

- Rinse your mold with cold water before baking and do not dry it. With this trick, your dough/mass will release best from the silicone.
- Before filling your silicone mold, place it on a baking sheet. This way, you avoid the dough literally running away.
- Use a silicone baking mat. This saves you the hassle of cutting baking paper.
- Give your baked goods ten minutes to cool down before carefully removing them from the mold.
- Thanks to the non-stick coating, you can reduce calories and fat content (no greasing needed).
- The silicone mold is great for making chocolates.
- Need a new twist for your garden party? Thanks to the wide selection of shapes, you can create special ice cubes.
- Fancy homemade ice cream? Pour the liquid mass into the baking mold and into the freezer.

Porcelain Baking Molds – Already a Hit in Grandma's Times

- The mold is heat resistant far beyond your possible oven temperature, edge-stable, and impact-resistant.
- However, avoid strong temperature fluctuations (hot-cold/cold-hot), as it reacts sensitively to them.
- Be a bit careful when cleaning, as the baking mold is unfortunately not indestructible. Therefore, we recommend cleaning it by hand to use it longer.
- Are you a fan of quiche, tart, and similar? Then we recommend the porcelain mold, as it retains heat and is also wonderful for direct serving on the table.

Enamel Baking Molds – Almost Indestructible

- Enamel baking molds are among the most resistant because they are heat resistant up to 450°C.
- They are cut and scratch-resistant, and you can clean them in the dishwasher. A big plus.
- The cake mold is perfectly suitable for all types of fruit, as it is acid-resistant.
- It has good heat distribution for even browning.
- Thanks to the enamel coating, the cake can be easily removed from the mold.

Steel Baking Mold with Non-Stick Coating – A Good Heat Conductor

- It is coated with a non-stick coating on the inside.
- You should not use sharp or pointed objects. Baking helpers made of silicone or wood are best suited for this.
- It is best to rinse it by hand to preserve the coating.
- The baking mold is suitable for all types of cakes.
- It is excellent as a good heat conductor. This way, your cake gets an even browning.
- Despite the non-stick coating, we recommend lightly greasing the baking mold before use to achieve a perfect end result.
