Details
The Soul Slicer with the 16 cm long blade made from a special steel is a filleting knife. The steel alloy of the blade includes the rare element niobium. Due to this high niobium content, a finely structured steel is achieved despite its rust resistance, resulting in extremely high strength, durability, and edge retention. The hardness of approximately 60 HRC, the flat grind, and the narrow, slightly flexible blade make the Slicer the perfect tool for filleting, trimming, filleting, and cutting ultra-thin slices.
The massive and seamless handle in this variant is made from the high-tech plastic Micarta in black. This plastic is impact-resistant, hard, and shatterproof, as well as highly resistant to moisture, acids, and alkalis. Therefore, Micarta is often chosen by professional chefs as a handle material. The transition between the blade and handle is adorned with a ferrule made of matte brushed stainless steel.
The Soul Slicer is delivered in a high-quality matte black box with the Nesmuk certificate of authenticity.
