The solid and seamless handle in this version is made of stone oak. This deciduous tree is native to Mediterranean regions and can reach heights of up to 25 meters. The up to 500-year-old wood is heavy, hard, and very stable. It is highly sought after in artisanal workshops. The exceptional grain with mirrors and waves is reminiscent of the fur of a big cat, but always appears harmonious and soft. The transition between blade and handle is adorned with a ferrule made of brushed stainless steel.
The Soul chef's knife comes in a high-quality matte black box with the Nesmuk authenticity certificate.

Special Edition – Exclusive to Butch
The Soul chef's knife has an 18 cm long blade made of a special steel with the rare element niobium. The high niobium content achieves a finest-possible steel structure despite rust resistance, resulting in extremely high strength, durability, and cutting ability. The hardness level of approximately 60 HRC, the single-sided hollow grind, and the slightly curved blade shape make the lightweight chef's knife a perfect tool for 90% of all cutting tasks.The solid and seamless handle in this version is made of stone oak.
