Details
The Soul chef's knife has an 18 cm long blade made of a special steel with the rare element niobium. The high niobium content achieves the finest possible steel structure despite rust resistance, resulting in extremely high strength, durability, and cutting ability. The hardness level of approximately 60 HRC, the single-sided hollow grind, and the slightly curved blade shape make the lightweight chef's knife a perfect tool for 90% of all cutting tasks.
The solid and seamless handle in this variant is made of Bahia rosewood, which is only found in Brazil. The often-contrasting red grain looks wonderful on the very light, pink-colored wood. The very hard wood is usually only used as veneer due to its high price. However, Nesmuk only processes solid wood that is polished by hand to a high gloss. The transition between the blade and handle is adorned with a ferrule made of brushed stainless steel.
The Soul chef's knife comes in a high-quality matte black box with the Nesmuk authenticity certificate.
