Details
Once again, Nesmuk sets new standards. The Nesmuk Soul Steak and Table Knife is forged from a special knife steel that has been refined with nitrogen. This unique alloy makes the steel extremely resistant to corrosion. At the same time, the steel can be hardened significantly without becoming brittle. This optimized steel structure enables the classic Nesmuk sharpness combined with an unusually high hardness and an enormous service life. The blade with a wedge grind has a hardness of approximately 60 HRC.
And Nesmuk has not only optimized the steel: the straight geometry requires a clean cut without sawing and tearing. Only the tip is placed and often a single pass of the blade is enough to smoothly cut through the food. This functionality is only guaranteed with an extremely sharp blade.
The blade and tang are made from a single piece of steel, which gives the knife a wonderful balance. Each knife is individually completely ground and lies comfortably and securely in the hand without any disturbing edges or gaps. In this version, the handle scales are made of finely polished olive wood. Native to the Mediterranean region, this noble wood has a light brown base tone with dark, irregular stripes. The handle scales are adorned on both sides with polished stainless steel ferrules, on one side of which the Nesmuk bat is engraved.
