Güde Caminada Knives
All knives in the Güde Caminada series feature a handle made of Graubünden walnut wood. Certain knives such as the bread knife, ham knife, and Santoku knife come with an elegant wooden sheath and gift packaging. Each piece is made from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, ice-hardened, and of course, rust-resistant. The handles made of Graubünden walnut wood are not waterproof and therefore not suitable for the dishwasher. The knives in the Güde Caminada special edition are hand-sharpened and have a double-sided grind.
The Güde knife series by Swiss star chef Andreas Caminada
The Caminada knives were created through a collaboration between Andreas Caminada and the Güde manufactory in Solingen. They represent a special edition at Güde. Each individual knife was perfectly tailored to his wishes and needs, thus corresponding to the philosophy of Andreas Caminada. Andreas Caminada received three Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points at the age of 33. He cooks for guests from all over the world at Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau.
