De Buyer Pots
Copper? Stainless steel? Or perhaps de Buyer pots made of cast aluminum with non-stick coating? Yes, the selection is large and each individual de Buyer pot has its advantages. We at Butch will help you find the right pot for your needs.
Those who want to buy new pots and choose the French brand de Buyer have different types of pots to choose from in each series offered. They differ fundamentally in shape, material and intended use.
The de Buyer Braising Pot
The braising pot is the classic pot that everyone knows. The braising pot is semi-high and is the universal genius on the stove and useful for most purposes. You can also use a de Buyer braising pot excellently for braising. The braising pots offered here come from the de Buyer Affinity, Alchimy, Milady, Choc Extreme, Inocuivre, and Prima Matera series.
The de Buyer Vegetable / Meat Pot
Meat or vegetable pots are higher than braising pots. Due to their height, the vegetable pot has a large capacity and is therefore ideal for large vegetable pieces or even soups. Large pieces of meat also find their place here. In addition, spaghetti and other pasta types can be cooked excellently in the de Buyer vegetable pots.
The de Buyer Roasting Pan
The de Buyer roasting pans are excellent for braised dishes. Thanks to the low height of the roasting pan, less liquid evaporates and the braised dish does not dry out. Roasting pans are available in different sizes and in straight or conical shapes. If roasting pans are given a steep handle, they become sauté pans.
The de Buyer Saucepan
Saucepans are the same height as braising pots, but unlike them, they have a handle. Saucepans are used for preparing side dishes or reducing sauces.
The de Buyer Series
In our range, you will find five different series:
de Buyer Milady
The de Buyer Milady series is a stainless steel cookware with a 6 mm thick encapsulated base and offers pots, saucepans, pans, and a sauté pan. Detailed information about this series and the complete range can be found on our de Buyer Milady page.
de Buyer Alchimy
The de Buyer Alchimy series is made of 3-layered stainless steel material. It was developed together with and for professional chefs and is adapted to the needs in professional kitchens. Of course, this does not mean that it won't work perfectly in your home kitchen, quite the opposite! de Buyer Affinity
One of our absolute top favorites is the de Buyer Affinity series made of 5-layered multi-layer material. Fast heating and even heat distribution will bring you immense joy while cooking. You can find detailed information about this series and the complete range on our de Buyer Affinity page.
de Buyer Inocuivre
90% copper with a thin layer of stainless steel on the inside. These are the core values of the de Buyer Inocuivre series. This is "real" copper cookware. With this series, you also have the choice between handle materials such as stainless steel casting, cast iron or brass. However, the Inocuivre series is not suitable for induction. If you keep reading, you will come to the de Buyer Prima Matera series. You can use this copper cookware on induction stoves. You can find detailed information about this series and the complete range on our de Buyer Inocuivre page.
de Buyer Prima Matera
Now we come to the absolute highlight in the de Buyer program, the Prima Matera series. The cookware is also made of copper with a thin layer of stainless steel on the inside. A ferromagnetic bottom ensures that this cookware also works perfectly on induction stoves. In the Prima Matera series, you have the choice between stainless steel casting or cast iron for the handle variants. You can find detailed information about this series and the complete range on our de Buyer Prima Matera page.
