Details
Double-sided chopping block from the End Grain Classic series made of maple end grain in the size 46 x 46 x 7.5 cm. Both sides of the board are completely smooth and usable in full size. Two side handle recesses make it easier to turn and move the board. The surface is finished with the Boos Blocks Cream Finish with beeswax. End grain boards are more resistant to cuts, as you cut into the fiber and not against it. The boards regenerate more easily and are also intended for chopping, for example, bones.
All Boos Blocks are completely manufactured in the factory in Effingham/USA. With well over 125 years of experience, Boos Blocks can rightly claim to be one of the leading experts in the field of wood processing. The preferred material is North American maple hardwood of the highest quality, guaranteed from sustainable cultivation. Especially in today's world, this is an important factor.
Maple wood is durable, resistant, hygienic, knife-friendly and, with proper care, prevents bacterial growth.
