Blockwerk 6-piece magnetic knife block - wild oak wood with steel base

6, that's the magic number! Because the magnetic 6-knife block from Blockwerk offers exactly enough space for this number of knives!

The 6-knife block is equipped with 6 strong magnets inside and provides secure space for 6 knives on 6 sides. It would be nice to have 4 sides, but the existing sides are completely sufficient. You can place 2 knives on the long sides and 1 knife on the short sides. The magnets are arranged separately, typical of Blockwerk, so that each knife has its own place and the blades cannot damage each other. The body in this variant is made of solid and polished wild oak wood and offers dream dimensions of 11 x 7.5 x 25 cm (W/D/H). The body holds knives with a maximum blade length of 23 cm, depending on the construction of the knife. To be absolutely sure, you should measure the length from the tip of the knife to the bolster (transition from the blade to the handle).

The base of the 6-knife blocks is made of solid steel, similar to the Strandgut blocks. The Blockwerk craftsmen give the base a special treatment to give it a beautiful vintage look. Since the base is untreated, surface rust may occur. However, this can be easily removed with a sponge. If you don't like this, we recommend oiling the base from time to time. With this knife block, you can also remove your knives with one hand thanks to the combination of the 14.5 x 11 x 2.5 cm (W/D/H) large base and the high weight of the block of around 4.6 kg.
